# My Top Productivity Tools As A Developer
Hello there, welcome to my blog today and we shall be seeing the top 30 tools I use daily for my productivity hacks, work, freelancing tools etc. These will obviously change from time to time as I discover new and better ones.

It is actually my fav background image remover due to its speed, reliability and flexibility.

Adobe After Effects is a digital visual effects, motion graphics, and compositing application developed by Adobe Systems and used in the post-production process of film making, video games and television production.
I use After Effects for keying, tracking, compositing, and animations and creating my digital collections (NFTs)

OpenShot Video Editor is a free and open-source video editor for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Chrome OS.
I love this one because of it's simple approach and helps me a lot in editing my Youtube Videos in HD format.

Most popular code hosting platform for version control and collaboration.

I guess this is one of my most visited websites because it is the only active social media I use and I create tech-related microblogs(tweets) for my followers.

Genymotion Desktop is an Android emulator which includes a complete set of sensors and features in order to interact with a virtual Android environment.
With Genymotion Desktop, you can test your Android applications on a wide range of virtual devices for development, test and demonstration purposes.

π **Kaspersky Anti-Virus **
Kaspersky Lab is a Russian multinational cybersecurity and anti-virus provider headquartered in Moscow, Russia and operated by a holding company in the United Kingdom.
Security is very key to what I do and this anti-virus is one of the 3 options I use often on my laptop.
π **PDFsam Basic**
The work I do usually involve annotating and editing PDFs and I chose PDFsam because I can Split, merge, rotate, mix and extract pages from PDF files.

I love this tool because I Capture and share Twitter posts as beautiful images.

Turn your code into beautiful images. Choose from a range of syntax colours, hide or show the background, and toggle between a dark and light window.
This comes in handy for me as a tech-content creator and for sharing code on Twitter.

Brave is a free and open-source web browser developed by Brave Software, Inc. based on the Chromium web browser.

I use it extensively for crypto and blockchain-related transactions on top of safe browsing.

π **Remotasks**
When it comes to remote work, I usually prefer this site and [remote ok](https://remoteok.com/). I am not a fan of Fiver or Upwork! I feel like there is too much beaurocracy there. So I made my choice here.

π **PyCharm**
PyCharm is a dedicated Python Integrated Development Environment (IDE) providing a wide range of essential tools for Python developers, tightly integrated to create a convenient environment for productive Python, web, and data science development.

π **VS Code**
Visual Studio Code is a code editor redefined and optimized for building and debugging modern web and cloud applications.
I mainly use VS Code for other programming languages and usually HTML, CSS & Javascript!
π **Atom**
Atom is a desktop application built with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and Node.js integration. It runs on Electron, a framework for building cross-platform apps!

Of course, I need a VPN on my list and I often use Turbo and TOR other times!

Slack is a messaging app for businesses that connects people to the information they need. By bringing people together to work as one unified team, Slack transforms the way organizations communicate.

With Sticky Notes, you can create notes, type, ink or add a picture, add text formatting, stick them to the desktop, move them around there.
They help me keep track of my todos on PC besides the physical diary book!

Y2mate allows you to convert & download videos from YouTube, Facebook, Video, Dailymotion, Youku, etc. to Mp3, Mp4 in HD quality.
I use it almost daily for downloading tech content and other videos I am interested in.

Product Hunt surfaces the best new products, every day. It's a place for product-loving enthusiasts to share and geek out about the latest mobile apps, websites, hardware projects, and tech creations.
Community members can submit, browse, vote, and comment on daily submissions of products. They also get the opportunity to interact directly with product creators, investors, journalists, as well as, an active community of people who are passionate about products.

Codewars is an educational community for computer programming. On the platform, software developers train on programming challenges known as kata.

π **Stack OverFlow**
Stack Overflow is a question and answer website for professional and enthusiast programmers. It is the flagship site of the Stack Exchange Network.

π **Nmap - Zenmap GUI**
Zenmap is the Nmap security scanner graphical user interface and provides hundreds of options.
Zenmap aims to make Nmap easy for beginners to use while giving experienced Nmap users advanced features. I use it for network-related testing
π **Google Search-Advanced Tools**
These help me sort for royalty-free graphics, vectors and be able to customise my search results from Google for the best results.
π **Oracle VM VirtualBox**
It is a type-2 hypervisor for x86 virtualization developed by Oracle Corporation.
It allows users to extend their existing computer to run multiple operating systems including Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and Oracle Solaris, at the same time. I use to run Linux Instances.
My Laptop is also dual boot with a Ubuntu 20 LTS & Windows 10 Pro
π **Chrome Extended Dev Tools**
Chrome DevTools is a set of web developer tools built directly into the Google Chrome browser.
I want to say Chrome has the best dev tools and I often use it while web-scraping and real-time navigating while browsing. I enabled advanced features like CSS Overview etc to increase productivity
π **Selenium**
Selenium is an open-source umbrella project for a range of tools and libraries aimed at supporting web browser automation. I use it for web-scraping and building browser bots.

π **Discord**
Discord is a VoIP, instant messaging and digital distribution platform. Users communicate with voice calls, video calls, text messaging, media and files in private chats or as part of communities called "servers"
I have servers that I belong to and I constantly check for communications and I am also creating my own dedicated server for my following that is piling up!
π **Google Drive**
Google Drive is a file storage and synchronization service developed by Google.
I use it to create and share my work online, cloud backup solution etc.
π **IPFS Desktop**
The InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) is a protocol and peer-to-peer network for storing and sharing data in a distributed file system.
IPFS uses content-addressing to uniquely identify each file in a global namespace connecting all computing devices.

π **Site-Downloader**

π **Re-Alarm**
Re-alarm could be the best alarm clock on Windows! It helps you customise sounds, use random tones etc. It helps me keep track of my time and stay organised!

I did not include most of the apps I have because some increase productivity through games, reading etc and I just felt sharing only the above.
